First round of 2021 - 2 January.

What a way to start the golfing year.
Monthly medal in 40km/h winds!

Playing with resident Pro and ex Sunshine tour player Mike Michell (+3 Handicap) and my two kids, Isabella (+2 handicap) and Jan Stals (+1.2 handicap), meant I was the worst golfer in the 4 ball. On a medal day!

I kept it together with the short game on the front 9. Only hitting 3 fairways and 4 greens and turning level par.
A birdie at the short downwind  par 3, was followed by a drop at the tricky but beautifull par4 4th.
On the back 9 I leaked a few shots to come in 4 over par.
Some poor ball striking cost me.

The course is in fantastic condition . Greens are firmer and they are rolling nicely.

I finished 2020 with a one over par 73. And started the year with a 4 over par 76.

2021 is the year where I would like to play consistently better. Not 1 good round 4 bad rounds.

This is about that journey.

Inbetween I would love to take you to some different courses.
Maybe do a few reviews from an amateurs viewpoint?

Hopefully I can give away some prizes.

Drop me a line to let me know what you would like to see.
